Project Beacon
Multi Agency Common Operational Picture
Project Beacon is a system that allows multiple agencies to share geo-spatial and other information via our browser based and hosted GRP-2 solution.
This system has been developed in collaboration with Local Resilience Forums (LRFs).
Project Beacon has been running succesfully in West Yorkshire since 2011. Through Beacon, GRP-2 has been deployed at numerous multi agency exercises in West Yorkshire to great effect and is currently being trialled by other UK LRFs.
Any Category 1 or 2 Responder agency is entitled to a number of free accounts on the Beacon Service, providing them with the new capability to quickly develop a common situational awareness platform without the need for expensive systems and long and protracted procurement processes......Read More
